Semester: 2nd

Number of credits: 5

Concluding evaluation: exam and work

Objectives of the course: To present basic approaches in statistics, to learn to collect, describe and manipulate empirical data. To learn to formulate scientific questions, hypotheses and verifiable probabilistic estimates. To learn to interpret results on facts of psychological origin, to learn to use symmetries in understanding of systems, with emphasis to practical application of this knowledge.

Brief outline of the course:

Introduction - the goal and the spirit of course
