Slovak Society for Computer Science is a nongovernmental, nonprofit professional organization covering the areas of theoretical and applied computer science, software engineering, information engineering, informatics education and related areas. Its mission is to foster development of informatics and information technologies in Slovakia. It represents Slovak informatics community in IFIP and CEPIS and also participates in regional grouping of informatics societies IT-STAR.
